(More customer reviews)I unplugged my radar detector and had trouble getting the cord out of the socket.When I later plugged in the cord, the unit did not work; it was not receiving any power.I contemplated buying a new radar detector for $150 or so but found this cord on sale at Amazon for under $10.I figured it was cheap enough to gamble that the cord was the problem. It was and for $8.99 I was able to keep my Cobra Radar detector running as usual.The cord was shipped promptly and in good shape.
