(More customer reviews)The suction cup is a similar design to what the Garmin comes with, however not quite as solidly built although so far it has done a fine job staying stuck to my windshield without falling off. At first I thought the suction might not last and it would fall off, but that has not been the case and I've had it on the car for about 2 months. It does take up more space than the stock suction cup mounts, but it is worth it since the stock one falls off in the afternoon heat after a couple weeks of use. I prefer the shorter hybrid cord over the stock one, but either one works fine.
